Hello! My name is Gaby and I am fourth grade teacher in the Salem-Keizer school district. I love teaching, I think it's a wonderful and noble profession but it wears you out. So, when I'm not teaching and am recharging I love to go on long bike rides, runs, and hikes. Likewise, I love to be indoors watching Netflix with my husband and Beli, our puppy. I love to read for fun (over the summer)! Especially during long camping trips. And we go camping a lot. As for the technology question...

 

I wouldn't consider myself a wiz with technology but I feel like I can make my way. This is my first year as my school's "Webmaster," I love the title. My job is a lot simpler than it sounds though. I just update the website with current news. On the side, I'm helping our principal launch a resource site for our school that provides our parents & students with extra support at home. I'm building the site through Wix, which I've found is super flexible and a lot of fun to work with. It takes a lot of patience though. I'm looking foward to exploring new avenues in Wix this term.
